Cemetery of the Old Catholic Mariavite Parish at ul. Wojska Polskiego 151, belongs to the group of seven burial cemeteries in Lodz in Doły. The history of the cemetery is closely related to the history of the Mariawicka parish under the invocation of st. Francis of Assisi, established in 1906 at ul. Franciszkańska 27. At that moment, the management of the Mariavite parish in Łódź asked the city authorities to designate a plot of land to establish a religious cemetery. In the same year, the Mariavites were granted quite a large area at ul. Brzezińska (then the route to Brzeziny), currently of the Polish Army. From that moment on, the faithful, so far buried in Roman Catholic cemeteries, found their final resting place here. Over 3,500 dead from Łódź and Pabianice are buried at the Mariavite Cemetery. The oldest preserved grave is the grave of Antoni Wojdan (born June 13, 1861), who died on September 24, 1909, a fighter for Polish independence and socialism, awarded the Independence medal. In the south-eastern part of the Cemetery, there is a spacious tomb of nuns from the Congregation of the Marian Sisters. At the northern end of the cemetery's main alley, there is the tomb of Fr. Bishop Stanisław Maria Andrzej Jałosiński - bishop of the Silesian-Łódź Diocese in 1955-1983, pastor of the Old Catholic Mariavite Church parish under the invocation of st. Francis of Assisi in Łódź (born October 4, 1904, died July 29, 1986)
