I was researching my dad's POW days and I did not realise that this cemetery was the site of Stalag XXB during WWII. I thought it only had the memorial of the camp. Once I was directed by kind staff to the memorial I was just blown away by it and the story of it being organised by grateful local people. I cried when I saw it being so grateful myself for such kindness.
A wonderful place ... I recommend it!
Cemetery...
By far the best and largest cemetery in the city. Great fun guaranteed. Undoubted advantages include the bus stop which is located opposite, which significantly facilitates access to the place, as well as a multitude of shops with candles and all kinds of funeral articles nearby.
