The fish restaurant in the center of Gdańsk. In general, they sell fried crumbed fishes like trout, cod, salmon, or simple baked ones. I took a baked trout. It was so-so, I ate better fishes. Prices are moderate, staff is quite nice.
I am not a fan of fish, so my opinion may be biased. I've ordered a fried catfish with fries and salad. It was all greasy and fries were too burnt. Interior was very nice, kept in a marine style. Service was professional and order arrived quite quickly. I just think it was a bit too pricey for the quality of food.
Food was okay, nothing special. We waited almost an hour for it, service was rather unfriendly and you have to pay extra for everything - even for ketchup that has been standing outside all day. We went there because of all the good recommendations, but it did‘t life up to our expectations.
This place was recommended to us by our friends and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful inside, modern and clean. I couldn't stop looking at the lovely wall decorations. The fish was tasty and nicely cooked. The waiter was very polite, friendly and patient. We would like to come back there one day.
