A palace that no longer exists - in the Cieszków park, among trees. In the past, there was a beautiful early baroque palace, there was probably a fortress on the site where it was built. The stronghold was supposed to be built by the grandson of Władysław the Exile - Henryk I. The palace was erected here in 1695, rebuilding the old manor. The building was surrounded by an old castle moat, a park, and a fruit and vegetable garden. There were also two small ponds nearby, on one of them was an island where, according to the legend, the White Lady was supposed to haunt the palace, built on a rectangular plan, it was two-story, covered with a ceramic roof, there was a small courtyard in the middle, and eleven large windows at the front . Inside, there were two large, richly decorated guest rooms, a number of rooms, and a court theater. The palace, decorated inside and outside, was the most beautiful building in Cieszków and one of the most attractive in the entire area. Neighbors and people from the surrounding villages often went to the park, not only for walks, they came to buy young trees, shrubs, and flanks, which provided the owners with a significant income. von Teichmann, the Schreiber brothers, and from 1910 to 1945. Countess Alexandrine von Puckler und Blankensee. In 1842 the palace underwent a thorough restoration. Unfortunately, the building has not survived to our times. It was burned down by Soviet troops in 1945. Abandoned, it was finally demolished. Today you can see only its modest remains: a bridge, a gazebo, a moat, a palace building and a park. There is also a modern playground and an outdoor gym in the park as well as educational nature boards.
