This cemetery is a piece of history, it is a pity, some forgot about the graves.

Few people know that this cemetery is an important testimony of history. There was once a small village in the area and this cemetery next to it. When Nowa Huta was built, the builders refused to move the graves and erect a block in their place. For this reason and for fear of protests the plans of this housing estate were changed.

Closed for many years without burial. Restored for use, it looks better and better. Being around and see because it's a piece of history. Established in 1784 at the behest of the Austrian authorities after the liquidated cemetery at the church of St. Bartholomew. The oldest grave preserved today is from 1854.
