Lovely place. Peace and quiet, only nature and beautiful views.

The Nature and Forest Education Center in Wysokie Jeziora is an interesting educational and tourist place, run by foresters and financed by the Lubsko Forest District. It has an interesting infrastructure, interesting for both sightseeing and use: a wooden forester's lodge from 1926 in which there are five exhibition halls with nature exposition, in the form of exhibits, showcases, sound effects, etc., which are visited with the assistance of a guide. In addition, there is also a conference room equipped with multimedia equipment, the Internet, a forest library, a film library and numerous teaching aids. Outdoor attention is attracted by the dendrological garden (about 2 ha), whose main premise is to gather as many different species of pines as possible (currently 27 species are growing). Interesting species of trees and shrubs from various parts of the world grow here. The didactic forest paths and the "Na Wąwozy" walking paths are organized in a loop, which means that they start and end at the center's buildings. They are characterized by different length and degree of difficulty. Another attraction is the alley of the descendants of the most famous oaks of Poland and Europe, in which the descendants of: "Brave", "Napoleon", "Bartek", Oak Mużakowski, "Lech", "Alte Eiche" from the Land Hessen from the City of Gießen (the oldest in Hessen land - 1000 years old oak). The remaining part of the infrastructure is filled with a wooden shed with a hearth and a stone, 41-meter tower with a viewing terrace. Place of sale: The main building of the Center

The place is fantastic because Mr. Paweł, who showed us around, is a passionate collector. He talked interestingly and interestingly about the local forests, protection of forest ecosystems, and animals inhabiting these areas. In addition, he showed an unusual collection of pine cones from different parts of the world. In addition to the dendrological garden (very interesting), you can climb to the 41 m high fire-look tower.

176 degrees to climb the observation tower but it's worth it!
