I got a room from street side, the room was cold and I could hear the traffic almost as on the street, decided not to stay and moved to another place.

This place needs a major upgrades, it's actually falling apart. Peeling walls with mold, old ugly furniture, tv from seventies. Bathroom missing toilet paper holders. It smells like old nursing home. Spent there 2 night. It was nightmare. No elevator and no help to get my heavy luggage up to 2 floor. I am not recommending this place at all. Breakfast was awful too.

Non-smoking room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Shower was on the cold side of lukewarm. Breakfast was feeble - no salads, no fruit juice; powdered coffee with tepid urn water. Place looks like it was built and fitted out in the early 1990s, unchanged since. Owner couldn't give me a VAT receipt because "the printer's jammed". I travel a lot around small-town Poland, staying in hotels in this price range; none come anywhere near as dismal as this one.

We paid EUR 28 (120 Zloty) for 2 people for one night. What are your expectations for that price if you pay 15 EUR p.P.? It was okay, therefore 3 stars. The floor was clean, the bed sheets were nice and new, the lamps worked, there was a parking lot, hot/warm running water worked properly, clean bathtowels. We also were served 1,5 liters of drinking water (for free). Poor matrace, peeling and dirty walls, broken windows, no elevator, service quality could be improved ("slucham...po prosze paszport...milego pobycia"). They guy at the service desk seemed very frustrated. Breakfast for EUR 10 seemed to be rediculous expensive!

I cannot share the frequent bad reviews. Of course, the hotel is past its prime. And that's exactly why it's so cheap. The price / performance ratio is definitely okay. The breakfast was okay, the space where we ate it was simply fantastic. We definitely liked it there. The location is also good with a 10 minute walk to the center.
