Hopeless! The castle is haunted, old and ugly. You can get lost and there is no internet! I do not recommend.

It looks pretty ruined on the outside, but it’s beautifully done on the inside. Real ghost castle !! 😉😂😂

The palace from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries was built by Ernst Graf von Strachwitz (1763-1808). The next owners of the property were: Jan Graf von Strachwitz (1808), Henryk Graf von Strachwitz (1830-57), Ernst von Rittberg (1857-72), Leo von Watzdorf (1872-82), Emmy von Watzdorf (1882-1903) and Rudolf von Watzdorf (his wife was a Polish woman née Raczek), who in 1914 rebuilt the palace - both wings, the center of the original building and added the third floor. The Watzdorf family owned the estate until 1945. Until 2003, the palace housed a primary school, and during the summer holidays it was used as a hostel. Przedsiębiorstwo Hetman Roma Byczyna sp z o.o. continues a more extensive strategy.

I come back every year (as soon as there is a festival in the city), the place has its own atmosphere, although it needs renovation. Great breakfasts for the price.
