unfriendly staff, open only 5 hours a day. Open late, close early and take 2 hour lunches. The staff could barely speak English and treated guests with a cold companion. One of the worst tourist offices in Poland. The staff does not speak any language other than Polish. Bad for tourists speaking German and English. The staff did not have correct or sufficient information on local public transport. Do not bother going there. They are closed more than they are open. They charge a lot of money for empik. Rude and unfriendly staff make you feel like it's 1979 not 2019. This tourist bureau knew the local public transport system. I suggest the money and post the bureau as interactive online option.

Very friendly staff. A lot of interesting gadgets.

Little material about this city, which is a pity ...

As for the tourist information point, I have no objections - friendly service, I received a map and bought postcards. However, when it comes to how Gliwice is prepared for visits by tourists really interested in the history of the city and its monuments, the situation is dramatic, especially when compared to other Polish, even much smaller and less interesting cities. There is no marked urban route in Gliwice, virtually none of the numerous monuments has a board with information about its history (even a few straws!). It's like this city has no past. It's a shame and a lot of room for improvement.

Consultations for tourists and vacationers will be provided free of charge. Mom of the city and many booklets for travelers.
