The market square in Rydzyna maintained the shape given to it during the location of the city at the beginning of the 15th century. The picturesque villa complex from the 18th century and the town hall with a wooden tower give a unique character. It is the central point of the eighteenth-century urban layout of Rydzyna, where the town hall was situated opposite the facade of the castle. In the middle of the square stands the monument of the Holy Trinity, unique in Wielkopolska, which commemorates the plague epidemic from 1709.
