The first mention of the village comes from 1145. It is the act of granting Lusów to the Poznań chapter signed by Prince Mieszko the Old. In 1288, thanks to the efforts of Bishop Gerbicz, a Roman Catholic parish was established here. Lusowo remained in the hands of the bishops until the end of the 18th century. After the dissolution of church properties by the Prussian authorities, the property was bought by the Objezierscy of the Nałęcz coat of arms. The village was a dowry of Paulina Objezierska in 1823 at the wedding with Baron Wilhelm von Richthofen. Ok. In 1855 the present palace was erected on the foundations and cellars of the older manor house for Paulina von Richthofen née Objezierska. After Wilhelm's death, Lusowo became the property of the von Palm family. On trans. In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, Herman von Palm added a wing with a ballroom. In the early In the 1920s, the property passed into the hands of the Colonization Commission. After World War I, the property was parceled out. General Józef Dowbor-Muśnicki, the commander-in-chief of the Greater Poland Uprising, lived in Lusów in 1920-1937. Here he died and was buried in the local cemetery. In October 1940, the Germans displaced the inhabitants of Lusów to the territory of the General Government. After the war, the property became the property of the Polish State Treasury. Neo-Gothic palace. The building was erected on an elongated rectangular plan, with a basement, two-story. The central part is topped with a low gable roof. The polygonal neo-Gothic tower adjoins the eastern part of the front elevation. The wing extends with three-sided avant-corpses beyond the line of both facades, and includes a ballroom. The rear façade has a terrace - veranda. The building has neo-gothic decorative elements. Landscape park from the middle of Nineteenth century with an area about 1ha. As yet neglected, it stretches on the shores of Lake Lusowskie, to the west. side of the palace. A valuable old forest grows here, among which there are many monumental specimens.
