The first mention of the village comes from 1145. It is the act of granting Lusów to the Poznań chapter signed by Prince Mieszko the Old. In 1288, thanks to the efforts of Bishop Gerbicz, a Roman Catholic parish was established here. Lusowo remained in the hands of the bishops until the end of the 18th century. After the dissolution of church properties by the Prussian authorities, the property was bought by the Objezierscy of the Nałęcz coat of arms.
