MEDIMEL. Chirurgia i Medycyna Estetyczna

Im not one for giving reviews but I feel I have to for Medimel based in Szcecin Poland . After a lot of research into finding a clinic to carry out the removal of my Gynocomastia I decided to go with Medimel after hearing nothing but praise for Katarzyna and her team . It can be a bit daunting taking the first step and deciding to have surgery abroad but as soon as I checked into the accomodation and was made welcome from the hotel staff along with the occasional text and phone call from the clinic to see if I had arrived ok and what would be happening over the next few days the nerves eased , I found arriving 2 days before the procedure was ideal as it aloud time to settle in and relax , but thats just me . The hotel Atrium is situated about a 10 minute scenic drive along several tree lined streets from the clinic . My driver for the week was Jacek - I apologise my friend if I have spelt your name wrong , Jaceks a friendly reliable chap who drives you to the appointments and to and from the clinic . Medimel is a clean , warm and professionally run surgery with nice decor that you'll notice the moment you walk through the door . Poland is a lovely country with warm people , great architecture and beautiful women . I have been to Poland once before visiting Warsaw and Krakow and was impressed at how clean and well run everything is the train/bus network is a credit along with the museums , art galleries nice restaurants and coffee shops , there seems to be a sense of pride and respect amongst people . It was on this occasion I decided to return and have the procedure with Medimel . I will be forever grateful to Katarzyna and her team on what has been a life changing experience for me personally .

I had gynocomastica surgery here and Dr Clarke was amazing, she put my mind at rest by explaining the surgery and the possible complications, of which there were none, the staff were really nice, friendly and extremely helpful, the clinic was very clean and tidy, the anatheatist lady was lovely (shame I didn't get her number!), the surgery went really well, all I remember is being on the operating table then waking up in a bed all bandaged up. There was some bruising but thats to be expected, the pain wasnt that bad, just uncomfortable with the drains in. The atrium hotel were I stayed was fantastic, the food and staff were great, made some new friends, the rooms were nice and spacious and the beds were really comfy. Tomaz the taxi driver was really helpful and helped out whenever he could, bare in mind the additional costs of the prescriptions that you have to pay for after surgery, they aren't much but it's another cost and you have to pay for some of the taxi fares to and from the clinic, but it's a lot cheaper than the UK so it's not that expensive. Overall I would recommend medimel to anyone who is considering having surgery, it's a lot cheaper than the UK and I think they take better care of you, I had blood tests and a scan before the surgery to make sure everything was ok, which are included. I would definatley return there for more surgery if I needed to.

Dr Ostrowska-Clark is an absolute phenomenon among plastic surgeons, a brilliant doctor and a great personality.

I really recommend it, I am very pleased with the treatment and the service. Ms. Katarzyna Clark is a very specific and matter-of-fact person, she says what she thinks is very direct and bangs straight from the bridge, she is very confident, you can see that she has a lot of experience and, as she says so, she doesn't throw words to the wind. This is a small clinic but the level, culture, staff are all at the highest European level, you can see that the people who work there do not work there because they just have to like it, you can see that it is well paid specialists, nurses are for the medal, extremely empathic and care how about yours. The place is fresh, very clean and well maintained, it is made in the "American" style .... I am really impressed, the operating room, all equipment, etc. I don't know anything about it, but everything looks very decent and solid. There are real treatments and surgeries and there is a real surgeon working there, this is not aesthetic medicine like everywhere there is where the dentist has done a botox course and injects, to Medimel you go to serious matters for serious medical help. I chose this clinic because it had only positive reviews .... and I got it right, that's why I leave a good opinion for other patients, it's really worth it. I do not know if it is expensive or cheap in Medimel, I think it is reasonable and it is impossible to evaluate our health ... I repeat it is really worth it with all my heart I would recommend !!!!

Before choosing a clinic, I did some research among a dozen or so clinics in and around Szczecin, I mainly paid attention to opinions ... so I chose Medimel. Medimel Clinic is a very good place. Doctor Katarzyna is always very kind, smiling and with an individual approach to the patient. During the consultation everything was clearly and matter-of-fact explained to me by the doctor. I am 11 days after the surgery and I know that you have to wait a bit for the final results, but I am very happy 🙂. Thank you also to Mrs. Beata, who looked after me right after the procedure and overnight, she often asked if everything was all right and if I needed something (ps dinner and breakfast was very delicious 😉).
