The Orthodox Church in Biała Podlaska dedicated to Saint. Cyril and Methodius. The first Orthodox church in Biała Podlaska was built in 1582, it burned down in 1646. The interwar period of the last century affected the Orthodox Church, which contributed to the fact that the only functioning wooden cemetery church was demolished in 1938. In 1956, a village church was brought from Chełmszczyzna from the village of Cyców (this temple in 1994 was again transferred to Dobratycz near Terespol) a wooden church. In 1985, the construction of a new brick church of a two-storey p. St. Brothers Cyril and Methodius, and Saint. Martyr of Atanazy Brzeski, who was solemnly dedicated on September 24, 1989. Iconostas of the church of the Holy. Brothers Cyril and Methodius in Biała Podlaski was made by carpenter Dymitr Chwesiuk from Jabłeczna. Icons come from the ruined surrounding Orthodox churches in Southern Podlasie. A real polychrome inside the church was made by Eugeniusz Świnarczuk from Kovel in Ukraine. On the other hand, the mosaic icons on the outer façade were made by a team from Rivne, Ukraine, under the leadership of Mr. Mikołaj Kundel. In the lower church, p.w. St. Martyr Athanasius Brzeski regularly hosts the morning Saint. Liturgies for young people and children. In this temple there is also the icon of Saint. Athanasius Brzeski with a part of his relics. Saint Athanasius is the patron of the Orthodox Diocese of Lubelsko-Chełmska

Orthodox church of St. Cyril and Methodius in Biała Podlaska - orthodox parish church. It belongs to the Biała Podlaska deanery of the Lublin-Chełm diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church. The temple was built in 1985–1989 at Terebelska Street 19. The consecration took place on September 24, 1989. The building was erected from the private foundation of Nikifor Kuźmicki, who covered 2/3 of the investment costs, and from donations from the faithful. As a parish church in Biała Podlaska, it replaced an older, wooden temple located within the neighboring Orthodox cemetery. The temple has two levels, the patron of the lower church is Saint. Athanasius Brzeski. The object has an icon with a part of its relics. Inside there is a modern iconostasis and icons from non-existent churches of Southern Podlasie. The polychrome was made by Eugeniusz Świnarczuk from Kovel in Ukraine. A painting depicting its patrons was placed on the facade of the church. In the vicinity of the temple there is a parish house. The temple is surrounded by a small active cemetery - founded in 1810 as Uniate, from 1870 Orthodox, with tombstones from the 19th century and younger. In the years 2013–2014 the church was thoroughly renovated; her re-dedication was made on 21 September 2014 by the Archbishop of Lublin and Chełm Abel.
