Agricultural Syndicate "Pług", second half Twentieth century The building was built in 1914 in the Art Nouveau style, originally one-story. In the upper part of the central avant-corps the date "1920", probably indicating the beginning of the expansion. In the years 1934-36 Major Henryk Dobrzański "Hubal", quartermaster of the 2nd Regiment of Mounted Rifles, lived here. After the war, the seat of the State Association of Communal Cooperatives "Samopomoc Chłopska" in Hrubieszów, Bank of Poland and the Department Store. Since 1995, the property of the Foundation for Polish-French Friendship and Culture Stefan and Krystyna du Chateau in Hrubieszowskie, from 2018 owned by the City of Hrubieszów. Currently, the building is being renovated and, after the works are completed, the building will house the Hrubieszów Heritage Center and the seat of the Public Library in Hrubieszów.
