Old Jewish cemetery - a Jewish cemetery. Remains of scattered matzevot, the oldest from the 19th century. During the war, the place of martyrdom of the local Jewish community. After the war, forgotten. Currently ordered. Worth to see.

The Jewish cemetery is located in Krynica Zdrój on the hillside, at ul. Dirt. This cemetery was founded in the mid-nineteenth century. To this day, several dozen tombstones have survived in this small, old Jewish cemetery, most of which have the appearance of traditional Jewish matzevot. Most tombstones are made of sandstone, but there are also concrete, as well as granite and marble. The Jewish cemetery was also a black one, during World War II it was a place of mass executions by the occupiers, and in the 1980s the communist authorities wanted to completely liquidate the cemetery, a rubbish dump was created here. Today, the Jewish cemetery in Krynica Zdrój, despite the passage of years and difficult history, is well-kept, fenced with a stone wall and closed. The Office of Krynica Zdrój takes care of it, which takes care of order, and tourists willing to visit can receive a key at the City Hall.
