The cemetery was designed by the German architect Heinrich Scholz as an independent cemetery.
Located by the Tuchów - Rychwałd road on the edge of Księży Las. The cemetery is founded on a rectangular plan and fenced with concrete posts connected by a wooden rail. This facility has the most beautiful and best maintained vegetation from the cemeteries of the Tarnów district. The entrance is closed with a double wooden gate. The main element of the cemetery is a wooden cross with a figure of the crucified Christ and a gable roof with a serrated edge. At the cemetery there are gravestones in the form:
- upwardly narrowing concrete steles with profiled side edges, topped with small cast-iron Lorraine crosses or Maltese crosses with a laurel wreath motif,
- Lorraine cross from a flat on a concrete pedestal.
On the tombstones are oval, enamelled plates with information about those buried.
The cemetery consists of 27 single and 3 mass graves. Seven Polish legionaries of the 1st and 5th Legion Infantry Regiment rest in them.
