Place forgotten. Fence with a stronger wind will turn over. Nobody cares for it.

Driving along the commune road towards Hajdamaków and Pieniek, we pass an interesting place on the left side of the street. It is a choleric cemetery in Żytniów, which was probably established in 1852. This is indicated by entries in the parish book of the church in Żytniów, where many deaths due to cholera were recorded at that time. It was the burial place of not only parishioners, but also the inhabitants of the surrounding villages. It is difficult to estimate the number of graves on the basis of the existing sources, but it is known that there are remains of entire families, including children. Currently, the place is fenced with a wooden fence and covered with a birch grove.
