Good food and friendly service. Great location in town centre.
WE WAITED 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES FOR ORDERED FOOD !!! We got absolutely nothing after such a long time! When we approached the waiter we asked about our order and it turned out that they just forgot about us !!! Besides, the service is not nice. I recommend choosing another restaurant in Polanica because other restaurants are of really high quality! I recommend, for example, La Nonna, Europa, Zapiekarnia and Polskie Smaki = really good! "Pod Kasztanami" I DO NOT RECOMMEND !!! I am begging you, NOT WORTH!
Let's be honest: the gastronomy in Polanica is a bad joke. Prices from space, quality poor. In this place, of all the dishes we had, the only good point was the potato pancake. Sauce - a tragedy, pork tenderloin - dry to chip, chanterelle sauce - to the bank from frozen, chanterelles tasted like cardboard, plus a characteristic bitter taste after freezing the chanterelles. "Nagetsy" in breadcrumbs from pork chops, well, everyone judges them in their own way, but serving beetroots to a children's dish is a definite indiscretion. In my humble opinion, about 90% of children will have a problem with it. Two stars for the waiting time and nice waitress.
The nice lady from the service was the best and only the best, and then .... the pizza was something greasy with cheese, I don't even know what flavor, certainly not pizza, warm cheesecake ok tasty cold beer served by this nice lady, it tasted great we were 11, 09, around 6 p.m. you should get a raise and that's it 😁.
I heartily recommend the restaurant. Tasty boletus cream soup and pizza heaven in your mouth! Very good pear and raspberry tea, recommended by a nice waitress. Certainly, when I visit Polanica-Zdrój - I will remember the Pod Kasztanami Restaurant. Plus - a very cozy atmosphere, beautiful interior design. Best regards to the crew!
