The chapel served as a funerary. The dead from the von Puttkamer-Schickerwitz family, the Silesian branch of this significant Pomeranian family, were buried there. The chapel is located on an islet in the former palace park. Today there is no trace of the palace. In 1945, the chapel was plundered by the Soviets. For many years after the war, metal coffin lids were floating in the pond. On the island you can see a small hill overgrown with ivy - according to post-war residents, on the initiative of a local priest, the remains desecrated by the Russians were deposited there.
