Beautiful old town and market square
Ok .. almost like in the times of Przystanek Woodstock ..
Super train station from the era (a bit earlier)
Żary is a charming town full of historical monuments. Nice and well-kept market. Lots of greenery, alleys, benches in the palace park. Narrow streets and colorful houses are ideal for walks. Good gastronomic base and a public, automated toilet in the park.
A lot has improved in recent years - there is a coffee and snack vending machine, security supervises the station and finally there are clean aisles between the platforms. It is a pity that the external "gate" is still a deterrent, and its renovation would be useful for a long time.
