Bladeew's story about the activity of Cistercian abbey of the foundation duke Władysław Odonic. The first mention comes from 1235, and in 1433 Bledzew obtained a city location (now it is a village). As in every medieval city, it is a small market square, decorated with a baroque figure of St. John of Nepomuk from 18th century. The frontages of the square are built with 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. The market square is nicely renovated. In the northern corner is the church of St. Catherine from the 15th century. - Bledzew's story is closely related to the activity of the Cistercian abbey of the foundation of the Duke of Greater Poland, Władysław Odonica. The frontages of the market square are built with houses from the 18th, 19th and early 20th centuries. The square is nicely renovated and is a blessing decoration.
