A lot of work was put into the renovation of the Chojnice market in the past. The effect is worth seeing in person. A great place for walking. The iron point of my further rides - I always come back here with pleasure. When passing Chojnice, it is definitely worth visiting this market and its surroundings. I heartily recommend 🙂👍

The Old Market Square is the oldest part of Chojnice. It was established in the 14th century. The magnificent town hall in Chojnice is one of the biggest attractions in the city. It was put into service in 1904. The neo-gothic building has modernist decorations. There is also a fountain with figures of women on the market square. Near the square there is the basilica of the beheading of St. John the Baptist. It is also worth visiting the Człuchowska Gate and the Historical Museum located there.

An atmospheric place. A bit empty from fall to spring. Especially on weekdays. There used to be shopping, now times have changed.

The heart of Chojnice in a beautiful setting. A wonderful City Hall and a well-kept central part of the Old Market Square. An even cube that allows walking with a pram and for the disabled. Mostly well-kept space but there are areas that spoil the whole effect. I am a bit lacking in the more developed catering zone, especially at the central part of the Old Market Square. A place worth visiting
