When leaving the train station on Hel, going to the city, you do not have to be Agent 007 to come across the Monument in the shape of a Sail. He is devoted to none other than Stefan Żeromski. An outstanding Polish writer has been here at least three times in years when you were not yet on old Earth , because we are talking about 1922-1924, when you come closer and take the trouble to read the table here, for good morning you have the puzzle solved. And that you are better agents than Bond himself, more places are waiting! Have a nice stay and recognize the beginning of Poland - Globetrotters!

Simple but nice in its simplicity monument. Around a lot of greenery. I did not know that Żeromski loved the Polish sea so much ...

The monument has been associated with Hel for a long time, it is impossible not to notice it walking from or towards the railway station. September 7, 2020: Mr. Stefan, where is your monument ??? September 8, 2020: the monument is back :-)
