Nice historic cemetery.

Established between 1785 and 1813. Two beautiful chapels on its territory. A lot of interesting, historic graves. Every year, the local stonemason and sculptor renew one of the decaying tombstones and restore it to its splendor - we are talking about tombstones with old sculptures. Currently, the cemetery is unused (except for burials in family tombs, but no new places).

Cemetery "old" was founded between 1785 and 1813. It conceals the ashes of many famous citizens of the city, including Stanisława Sosnowska - a poet from the time of the January Uprising, mother of Ludwik Solski. In the neo-Gothic chapel of count. Sumińskich (currently Ożegalskich) rest the owners of nearby Słotwina. Next to the entrance to the parish cemetery is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from 1925, built according to the design of Ignacy Patolski.

A wonderful historical place, a living (though among the dead) history lesson. Lots of old tombstones and names, a lot of curiosities. For this silence and reverie. It is a pity that there is no historical elaboration with the indications of these more valuable objects.
