I had my birthday on Holy Saturday. The daughter bought a lovely bouquet of 19 yellow roses. Before she brought him to me, and I lived less than a kilometer from the florist, at least half of the flowers had withered. A few that were fresh, still stand today (25/04) and bloom very nicely. Simply the ladies working in this florist have an ugly habit of adding to the bunch of antiques that are no longer fit for normal sale. This is not the first such case at this florist. I only buy there if I have no other option and I closely watch if I will get the waste. A great advantage of the florist is having a rich assortment of really nice flowers but only those who look at the workers on their hands when making a bunch get them.
