One of two monuments located on the Pyzdry market square. The monumental column is to commemorate victims of the POW from 1918-20, and an additional tablet at the bottom commemorates the victims of the Katyn massacre.

Monument in memory of the fallen members of the POW (Polish Military Organization) from 1918 - 1920. The monument was created in the interwar period, unfortunately destroyed by the Germans in September 1939. Rebuilt and re-exposed on November 11, 1995. In a later period, a plaque in honor of those murdered in Katyn was set up.
