The city of Margonin was a private noble town located in 1402. As almost every city has a small market, which is built up residential houses dating mainly from the late nineteenth century. Currently, the city has about 3,000 inhabitants. There is a monument to the Fallen for Freedom on the market, unveiled on January 6, 2009 as part of the celebrations of the 90th anniversary of the Greater Poland Uprising. - The city Margonin was a private noble town located in 1402.
