There is a mini museum with illustrations of the Castle and a lot of memorabilia related to the patron of the school, Maria Sklodowska-Curie. Well-kept building under renovation.

The interesting history of the school dates back to the pre-war period. A branch of a four-grade school functioned in the peasant's chamber in Zawieprzyce. During the occupation of World War II, until 1950, children attended Januszówka, 4 km away. Until the present school was built on the walls of the outbuilding, children studied in difficult conditions in several peasant houses.

Great organization of the international visit of guests from France (Maria Curie-Skłodowska grandchildren) in cooperation with the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. The way the visit is prepared perfectly illustrates the work ethic in this school!
