Karczma Przy Dworze

Located in the old rural house which used to be a part of service buildings of local Polish aristocracy more than 100 years ago. The atmosphere is authentic and could be interesting if not for the modern background music from the radio. The food is good average - there are many regional dishes to choose from, but some dishes are really good (kolduny with lamb) and some are very average (pierogi with venison).

Food was ok but waitress/bartender could do with a smile on her face . Its a bit over priced compared to other places around . Just unhappy with service.

The inn is located near the airport. It is part of a complex which also includes a hotel. The inn was probably a farm building in the past. It is a low building with wooden rafters and small windows. The place is small and quite dark but has its own atmosphere, which is additionally emphasized by the appropriate music. Only a few accessories are missing that would make the interior a little warm. It was a surprise that the place, although I visited it on Sunday, is open only until 8 pm And there are no exceptions to this rule, customers who showed up after 7 pm were asked to leave. Also, all those who showed up before 7.00 pm were informed that we should hurry. It does not encourage you to enjoy the feasting. The menu is quite extensive, but only the first two are available. We have a choice of starters, soups and several main courses. I ordered paprika cream soup with goat cheese toast. The dish was correct. If it were properly seasoned it could be perfect. I also tried dumplings. They were presented very well. Arranged on a plate, not thrown in. Lovely shape of dumplings. Soft, delicate cake. Any stuffing. And of course no spices. Meat is also not a cook's specialty. As the client put it. "Hard as a sole." The prices are attractive. It is definitely an underinvested place. This is especially noticeable in the toilet. Something broken here, something that works half-heartedly. Dirty toilet bowl. There is no customer concern here.
