Countryside, rudeness, gastronomic unprofessionalism and the blonde menopause taking orders. As a chef with many years of experience, I must admit ... This restaurant is a joke. I walked in and, without taking the menu in hand, asked if there was a cold soup. The aging blonde lady said yes. I asked if I could get onion potatoes with it. The lady confirmed. After 10 minutes, the waitress brings cold soup, I suppose in Lithuanian, and some pancakes on a separate plate. It looked like some deep fried medallions or pancakes in golden breadcrumbs. It's hard to tell if they are bought or made on the spot by the way they look. I informed the waitress that I was ordering the cold soup, of course, but the latter is not correct. The waitress replied: - I do not know anything. It was like that on the receipt. Then she turned and walked away, leaving me with the order. I set aside those funny pancakes and started trying the cold soup. After a minute, the blonde lady who took the order came. She stood behind the bar which is about 5-6 meters from the table and screamed loudly at the whole room - and what did you not know that they were potatoes fried with onions? - I did not know. I wasn't in the kitchen as it was done. - sir, you have to learn to read Polish because the menu clearly says "potatoes fried with onions". - but ma'am, I didn't have the menu in my hand. (Because I entered and asked at the bar about the availability of dishes that I just wanted on a hot day) The lady replied that it was not her fault that I did not read. Of course, she was saying it to the whole room while standing behind the bar. So that all other customers heard. I announced in a calm voice that not only did I not receive my order, but the entire service was extremely rude. I got up and left. Summarizing. Countryside, rudeness and gastronomic unprofessionalism. Avoid this dive in a wide arc.
