Lovely and helpful staff. Breakfast and hostesses servicing this even lovelier. Honestly! The only two downsides (if I really had to be malicious) were: no description what's what in bottles in bathroom and no fridge (shame as I had some food as a gift for my English friends. After journey still looks ok 'cause simply these were organic vegetables

Good value for money, central location close to the old town. Breakfast was good and tasty, even with Covid safety measures the staff provided a good meal. The hotel bar has a good range of bottled local beers (Kormoran brewery).

Nice hotel, close to the old town making it an ideal stay for a trip to Olsztyn. Honestly worth every penny for both the rooms and the tasty breakfasts. Would definitely visit again

We had the room 123 with the entrance in front of our window, at 6:30 am we were waken up by a chainsaw and loud music from the workers that are working in the hotel, all the hotel in in works, but how the hell they are making that noise at that time? we could not sleep anymore, the next day the recepcionist told us that the manager will call us on monday but it never happened, very bad customer service...

There were things I liked about this hotel but the things that I hated it makes me think I cannot give this more than 1 star unfortunately. I wholly do not recommend this hotel. Here are its redeeming features: 1. It is close to the centre of town. It is a 5 minute walk which is very handy and about a 30 minute walk from Glowny (the main train station, but much closer to the Zachodni station). 2. Breakfast was included in our cost and it wasn't terrible, particularly for something that was obviously a buffet but has had to readjust in times of Covid-19. 3. Their staff are friendly and helpful. More about this in the dislike section. 4. There's a pool table in the lobby. I didn't use it but that's a pretty cool feature. But here are the dislikes, they were overwhelming (first two points) for my experience (with my partner) that it overshadowed any of the good points. 1. Our first and only time in Olsztyn so unsure if this is a regional phenomenon but this hotel is located on a very popular road where boy racers (a term used to describe people obsessed with loud cars) will loudly drive/race their cars from dusk to dawn. It made it impossible to sleep with the window open because every 10 minutes there'd be car engine revving. This is obviously not the hotel's fault but most people go to a hotel where they can sleep comfortably - this hotel couldn't fulfil that because of its location. 2. Fellow guests treated the hotel like a party hostel. Maybe I'm too old now but out of the 5 nights we stayed in this hotel, 3 of the nights (Sun, Mon & Tue) we experienced loud neighbours into the night. Some of that I blame on the thin walls but it was mostly inconsiderate fellow guests. Once the staff helped us by giving us a different room for the night so we had no neighbours, and another night there were parties into the early hours of a Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. I asked staff to ask them to be quiet... that worked for about 5 minutes. 3. We stayed in July so perhaps it was our fault for not booking a more expensive room but there was no air-conditioning or a fan in our room. The 20+ degrees at night made it sweltering inside so we often had to open the windows to get some air... which meant all we could hear was boy racers, and then we were eaten alive by mosquitos. 4. The shower was not great and there was an extraction fan in the bathroom which seemed to have been ornamental rather than operational (in case Hotel Kopernik reads this, it was room 316). The liquid soap isn't labelled - there's two soap dispensers on the shower wall, they both seemed to be identical but wasn't entirely sure. 5. Minor thing: I wish they had swipe cards for the bedrooms instead of traditional metal keys. 6. I noticed there was a lack of wheelchair accessible facilities particularly for the hotel entrance which has about 20 steps.
