Blue trail in the Jizera Mountains (also called Szklarska Droga, or the Old Customs Route) Former Old Customs Route, ran through the Orle district since at least the 17th century. It was one of the most important communication routes in the Jizera Mountains. The road led from Szklarska Poręba Górna to the former glassworks from 1617 in Biała Dolina, through Rozdroże pod Cichą Równej to Orle and further around Granicznik, next to the customs chamber, across the border bridge on Jizera to the Czech Republic, to the well-known precious stones and glassmaking of the village of Jizerka. The former name of the Old Customs Way comes from the customs house, which was established near the road in the Eagle area after delineation in 1710 along the Izera administrative border between the Austrian provinces of Bohemia and Silesia. The new name "Szklarska Droga" was created in the 18th century when the road joined glassworks and glass grinders in the Biała Dolina with the new glassworks "Karlsthal" in Orle. Currently, it is quite an easy trail in the summer, in winter quite a nice running route.
