The bunker is terribly neglected, in a tragic condition, as is the access road, but I visited this place for the second time.

Command shelter of the German anti-aircraft defense in Kalonka near Lodz
During World War II, Łódź was an important industrial center working for the needs of the war economy of the Third Reich.
There were four enemy aircraft detection stations around the city. Command points were placed in shelters of concrete-brick structure embedded in the ground, built on hills giving the possibility of good observation of the space around the city and command anti-aircraft artillery.
They were located on Rudzka Góra, near the "Lublinek" airport, in the vicinity of Szczecińska and Liściasta streets and in the village of Kalonka (on the extension of Zjazdowa street).
The shelter was integrated into the top of the hill towering over the south-eastern part of Łódź.
