Woe to the one who decides on the title darling in the area of ​​this meadow. This is definitely not a place where you can easily spread the blanket and throw yourself into Amor's arms. The name of the meadow comes from the forester's name - Władysława Kochana - and is definitely a marshy, overgrown, marshy area in the vicinity of the Sławski lake. It has the features of a raised bog. This is also probably the place of occurrence of an insectivorous plant: round-leaved sundew, which is what these areas like. Unfortunately, I did not have enough luck to see the sundown here. Nevertheless, the mechanism of action of this plant is extremely interesting, and also lethal: the sundew, on the hairs growing from its leaves, emits droplets of sticky substance with the scent of honey. It attracts insects that are overpowered with this honey-like liquid. After catching the victim, the leaf closes, which takes up to 3 hours. For the next 24 hours, the victim is digested with the formic acid secreted by the plant and immediately after that the sundew is ready to receive another guest. Interestingly, the sundew has the ability to assimilate, however, the nutrient-poor peat substrate makes it must be insectivorous. Sundew is not dangerous for humans. The rinses and decoctions made from it have for us curative and pain-relieving properties.

In this area there is a stand of many valuable wetland plants, including round-leaved sundew belonging to the so-called predatory plants, as it supplements nitrogen deficiencies by digesting caught insects. The name of the meadow comes from the name of the former owner of the area.
