Natura 2000 site. Cranes. Bagno Sławskie is one of our most valuable peat bogs. It includes two peat bogs divided by a narrow strip of deciduous forest adjacent to the north-western shore of the Sławskie Lake. The surface of the Sławskie Lake is 854.67 hectares, and the maximum depth is about 12 meters. The area is surrounded by coniferous forests, and deciduous from the south. Coniferous forests are economic pine monocultures, and deciduous forests are mainly ash and alder forests, and from the south and south-east peatlands, marshy ols.
