Międzyrzecz (formerly Meseritz) has a lot of historic buildings, and one of them, although not always mentioned in guidebooks, is the District Court building. Formerly, it housed the German court of the land, and the building was erected in 1879 after the victory of Prussia, which ended in 1871 with France, thanks to the obtained war reparations.
It is a large three-story brick building in the eclectic style with decorative friezes and cornices finished in white. During the last war he suffered a bit, but after the renovation he still serves Temida. In the eastern part of the building there is a detention center. The building is located at Wojska Polskiego 1
