Interesting neighborhood worth seeing.

The foundations of the Bismarck tower built at the beginning of the 20th century by the residents of Meseritz, among others the owner of Heather Mill - Heidemuehle in Skoki. Some of the foundation stones are in the Lapidary in Nietoperku

The tower is fenced off from every side, but the look is even interesting. Access very easy

German society, in recognition of the Iron Reich Chancellor, Otto Eduard Leopold von Bismarck-Schönhausen, built about 250 so-called Bismarck Towers in his honor. The first buildings of this type were built during the chancellor's lifetime, and the last tower was commissioned in 1926 in Polanów. The tower in the vicinity of Międzyrzecz was destroyed in the 1950s and 1960s, and in 2003, on the initiative of the village head of the village of Nietoperek, the inhabitants of the surrounding village transported the remaining 42 erratic stones and fragments of the tower to the village in such quality and arranged them along a country road near the pond. Currently, one can see a clearly visible mound and the remains of foundations on site. For lovers of history, definitely a place to visit, especially with regard to the remaining stones. For bystanders, this is unlikely to be a major attraction.
