One of the strangest places I have ever stayed at and dined in. But... I really liked it and enjoyed it. Accommodation: it was okay, I have not expected much and have not received much. Fair enough for the price I have paid. The only thing was the room was pretty dark. On the other side: I have not spent much time there. [attention: I have not stayed in the main complex, as we booked a 2-rooms flat]. The owner was great, very helpful with both accommodation and some problems we have had with the bikes and the car. Really appreciate this. The main building full of sculptures and paintings which don;t match and don';t make sense. And I really loved this "art" atmosphere. Restaurant: here we come to the best part, the port knuckle was perfect, my partner and friends: nobody complained and we all loved what we had. I was about to give it a 4* rating due to a poorer room conditions, however the food and help we have received: it's a well deserved 5*. But - do not expect a 5* luxury here thou ;-)

My family and I dined in the restaurant here on Friday 12 June 2020. The food was very good indeed and the service was excellent. I had the roe on a bed of cabbage and the combination of flavours was delicious. My wife had the melted Camembert. She ordered it with potatoes but it arrived with fries. The waitress apologised and the correct dish came back in a mere three minutes. Our two children had no complaints with their chicken and fries. The side salads contained a nice combination of mixed veg with pleasant flavours. The portions were generous but not overly so, and I approve of this because I dislike leaving food which may be wasted. The whole experience left us with the impression of a kitchen that is run to a very high standard: the time from ordering to eating was ideal, and little things like being given four small forks with one dessert without having to ask for them demonstrated that although our waitress was young and a little nervous, she had clearly been well trained. It is rare to find a restaurant that is run as well as this one. If you are in the area, I strongly recommend this establishment. The menu is broad and caters for all tastes, whether you are after traditional Polish dishes, want something international and uncomplicated, or have special requirements. A return by us is a certainty when we're next in the area!
