The location of the municipal cemetery in Drawsko is obvious, so it is not necessary to indicate the place that ends the temporal path of the present inhabitants as well as those who lived in Dramburg until 1945. Certainly, contemporary symbolism and sepulchral art clearly separate from the workshop and tastes of old stonemasons, but the purpose of the place has remained unchanged for centuries. The neatness and aesthetics of the entire complex deserve attention, which is undoubtedly thanks to the team of residents and local authorities who spare no money to maintain a dignified burial place. It is also the result of the work of the inhabitants of Drawsko, who, by striving for the memory of their relatives, show concern for the common good. In this light, a walk along the cemetery alleys becomes a good occasion for reflection for all visitors, including strangers. The presence of a lapidarium dedicated to the former community, whose dead remained in this place, requires a special emphasis. The contemporary needs of the town are being replaced by the relics abandoned by their guardians after 1945. A well-designed and arranged cemetery must fulfill its functions towards the current inhabitants, but the symbolic headquarters pays respect and remembers its German predecessors. Thus, the ethereal historical continuity and social awareness were preserved. Such a procedure, although absolutely worthy, is unfortunately not common, which is all the more worth emphasizing and praising. The spirit of the place - the genius loci, certainly feels at home in the Drawsko necropolis, combining the building blocks of the inhabitants' identity.
