Błonia Nadwiślańskie stretches along the right bank of the Vistula. A nice place for walking as well as for relaxation. A number of music and sports events and many other attractions take place there. The place could be more neat.

A remarkable staging of the battles of the Napoleonic army with the Prussian army over the city and Grudziądz fortress (1807). Among the forces fighting against the Prussians were also Polish battalions, praised by the French commander of the siege of the Grudziądz fortress. The signing of the peace treaty on July 9 and the Franco-Prussian Convention on July 12 in Königsberg ended the siege. Grudziądz, together with the nearby villages of: Parski, Nowa Wieś and Świerkocin, remained in Prussian hands. The area of ​​the city, called Przedmieście Tczewski, lying on the southern bank of the Trynka Canal, still occupied by the siege corps army, was recognized as part of the Duchy of Warsaw.
