We have been several times, each time we discover this place anew. It is definitely worth wandering around the city walls, climbing the lookout tower and walking along charming streets. I also recommend going down to the Vistula river, lots of greenery and places to walk. Lots of good restaurants on site also a great place to go all day.

It is not far from the old town in Gdańsk or Toruń, but you can take a walk.

Grudziądz is a city of contradictions, the newer part of the city is just like other cities. However, the old town is nothing but paradoxes. Beautiful on the side of the Vistula, the granaries are red brick, but it is enough to go to the other side of the granaries and the spell is broken. Dingy tenement houses that have not been renovated, empty, closed buildings marked "For Rent", lots of fans of cheap drinks. There are charming, clean, well-kept streets, but it is a phenomenon. greetings

Beautiful, neat and clean place. Until it encourages you to walk. Numerous benches, cafes and lots of flower pots. You can see that the city has invested. There are car parks on site, so you can easily leave your car and go on a hiking trip.

What to say. After the first unpleasant impressions of ul. Toruńska (mess) was getting better. St. Nicholas Basilica, granaries, narrow, romantic streets give all the charm to the old town. The ruins of the Teutonic castle and the Klimek tower are really worth visiting. Along the Vistula there are many walking areas and bicycle paths. You can see that the city opens onto the river. Sum sumarum If someone has two or three hours free, Grudziądz is worth visiting.
