The unbiased way the history is presented makes it one of the best museums I've seen. This isn't in any way close to "The Schindler's List", but presents cold facts in a way that will stay with you. Extra star for not trying to manipulate the history.

One of the most intense places I've ever visited. As soon as you arrive, there's an energy here you just can't explain. It's eerie. Once you go in the buildings and see what's in there it explains that intensity. A very sad and tearful place to be. I just felt overwhelmingly sad

The experience in Ausschwitz depends on the guide. Our guide finished in 2h10min and explained absolutely nothing. A typical tour is supposed to last 3:50hrs. We walked by all other tours and heard other guides explain about 4 times the information that our guide provided. She was clearly tired of doing this job for 30 years (according to her). Don’t come to work if you ruin the visit for others. It’s a place to learn and educate with a lesson that no other place can offer, so please do your job right.

We have been twice with a guide each time. The guide will enrich your experience with thier detailed knowledge. We went in January each time and on both occasions it snowed. The second time quite heavily
