The owner Gromnik was an unusual person. He was trained for a patriot and a soldier from a small age. In 1848 he and his brother participated in the uprising in Hungary. He was to be one of the adjuncts of General Józef Bem, which confirms with the rest of the Hungarians. After the revolution, his wandering began. He sailed from Turkey to the Mediterranean, where he experienced amazing things, such as getting stuck in the shallows. He was in different ports until he found himself in England one day. From there, he went to Belgium, and then France, where he also tried to re-taste soldier's life. Disappointed by failures, he returned to Poland. Specifically to the stud of his father in Gromnik. Here he managed the estate, he created organizations associating horse breeders. He later became one of the first people in the world to produce oil. He was also elected to the Galician Sejm and the National Council.
