60 graves have survived at the Jewish cemetery in Wysokie Mazowieckie, the oldest of them comes from 1882. The cemetery is 0.6 ha. It is renewed by the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland and with the support of Michael Traison and Marvin Brooks. There is a monument commemorating the Jewish community of the city, the whole area was tidied up and matzevot lying earlier on the ground were erected

The cemetery was established in the first half of the XIX century (probably between 1830 and 1838). On the west side it bordered the eastern part of the cemetery belonging to the Roman Catholic parish. During World War II, the Jewish community of Wysokie Mazowieckie (55% of the population) was decimated by the Nazis and the Jewish cemetery was devastated. Only about 60 granite matzevot survived the war. The oldest of the preserved tombstones was made in 1860.
