Prince Frederick of the Netherlands had the viaduct built in 1862. The viaduct, made of cinder blocks and bricks, is located in the Polish part of the Fürst-Pückler-Park.

The viaduct looks just impressive. It's great that it has been revitalized.

An interesting place for a walk with friends.

It is difficult to treat Muskauer Park (Polish side) as a separate whole. Only by visiting both sides of the park, you can fully appreciate its charm and momentum. Some of the reviews I've read before point to how the Germans have revitalized their part nicely, and how much we still have to catch up. Unfortunately, these opinions contain a factual error. The part lying on the German side of Nysa Łużycka was designed from the very beginning as a palace with a garden in the Versailles style. And the larger part, lying on the Polish side, is a typical example of an English garden. This English garden was more a contribution to the bankruptcy of the prince. Professor Kozina says: "The English Park was even more expensive than the Versailles, because pruning the bushes and Versailles hedges was much less expensive than controlling so that the vegetation would grow as Pückler wished it." Regardless of the views and subjective feelings, one should respect the eccentric prince for his vision and perseverance. And UNESCO and Polish and German communities, for saving such a wonderful place from oblivion.

A beautiful place, especially in autumn when the trees are discolored. Very varied terrain. Flat along the river, hilly deep in the park. Paths poorly marked, signs blurred.
