An interesting fact of Babimost is the market location with the town hall outside the current residential zone. Originally, the wooden buildings of Babimost did not survive due to the fires which several times consumed the city. It was not until the 1830s that masonry buildings were built, some of which have survived to this day. The town hall was then integrated into the eastern wing of the market square. After the destruction of World War II, the town hall was rebuilt only in the early 1960s. - An interesting fact of Babimost is the most modern residential area.
