After reading the reviews and ok and not ok, we were wondering if we should take a chance? We took a risk and we can say positive. Our group consists of people with very different requirements and rather "cranky" type, but we managed. Fish soups, tripe soups, tomato soups and sour rye soup rated as a plus, in terms of taste and price. Second courses, fish from the oven and pizza, also very good. The price for the whole thing is decent for a restaurant in a seaside town. The only "but" is the service. The waitress, polite but not very familiar - maybe it's already late in the day, because we were peacocks at the end of the day, while the supportive friend - a failure - almost threw plates and absolutely neither please, nor tasty, neither me nor be nor ..... and we suggest the service staff to be sympathetic because it is the customer who pays the remuneration (if someone did not know) :-)

I had the opportunity to eat at this place 4 times. In general, the ordering itself is quick, the waitress brings the card in a few minutes, and she comes to get the order quickly. The waiting time for the dish is not long although today I waited a good over 20 minutes for 2 pancakes, green bottled tea from the fridge and a beer, while the restaurant was completely empty. The problems start with the dishes themselves, a breakfast set costs PLN 25, when ordering a set for 2 people, you get uneven portions of the same ingredients: 1 tiny jam, small cubes of butter, yesterday's bread, microscopic portions of scrambled eggs and other ingredients not worth the price. The dish of the day is a misunderstanding, because for PLN 19 I got 5 small potato halves, a miniature chicken drumstick that looked like a dog bitten and a pile of dry salad. Other dishes such as pizza and soups are quite tasty. The big disadvantage is also having to pay for the order at the bar, I don't understand it since the waitress comes to the table anyway for the order, so she might as well bring the bill and take the plates etc. number of items on the menu. The staff wears masks, but often only covers the chin, the owner sometimes serves customers without covering her mouth or nose.

I strongly do not recommend it, I ordered a standard dinner (because the fish seemed expensive) chicken + fries + salad. Very small portions, meat like gum ... I knew the price of the dinner before, PLN 27 per set, but the price of the beer knocked my legs out. In this place, Pilsner beer costs PLN 13! This one star is for the beautiful interior of the restaurant and friendly service, that's the only thing I can praise them for.

We were in Jantarowa for the third time in the last 4 years. A proven place, also open after the holidays, which is not obvious in Jantar. Tasty menu for kids. Adults will also come out satisfied. This time I have slight reservations about the fish from the oven. Could be a bit more expressive. We left full and satisfied. In terms of price, compared to the quite exquisite dinner eaten in Elbląg, it is quite expensive, but there is no feeling of badly spent money. Jantarowa stays on our list, where you can always eat.
