Mechanic actions: replacing the clutch with new ones, replacing the sealants. The mechanic deleted 1,500 - 1,600 PLN for all work, claiming that the clutch cost over 1000 PLN. As it turns out, it may be so but not for 11-year-old gasoline. According to others, such a repair should cost around PLN 1,000. I leave the assessment of this fact to others. After repair, additional problems arose in the car: - clear knock coming from under the engine when the car is at rest - very characteristic "wheezing" of the car while driving, when the car is in gear Again a visit to the mechanic, who said that it was the fault of the gearbox that had blurred. However, the problem was constantly growing, driving on the highway resulted in a loud buzzing car, drowning out the radio, the mentioned wheezing was later heard almost all the time while driving. Because I thought it illogical to have a transmission, I went to another mechanic. After dismantling, it turned out that there was still a leak of engine oil and - the clutch was to be replaced - stuck - the gearbox was heavily worn - to be replaced (photo) -slip sleeve has not been replaced, the seal has not been replaced, only glued with silicone (photo) - thrust bearing not mentioned, which was slightly deformed, rubbed against the sleeve and was well worn inside -shaft seal was not replaced, but there is a scratch on it indicating a failed attempt to disassemble it (photo) - the gear selector was barely tightened with one screw, it flew loosely and probably he was responsible for the noise coming from under the bonnet After replacing the parts listed above, the unwanted sounds disappeared. So the diagnosis that it was the transmission's fault turned out to be false. Driving further with a faded thrust bearing I risked its total damage and the destruction of the clutch and transmission.
