When resigning from organizing a larger event for reasons beyond my control (pandemic), it was impossible to recover the overpaid deposit. The owner was unreachable. The only people with whom I could contact were the ladies at the reception who did not have the appropriate decision-making powers. Ultimately, the case was resolved amicably, although it still arouses disgust. I do not recommend organizing larger events in the restaurant.
