Going to the open-air museum in Mrówki, we pass the statue of Światowid hidden in the forest. It is so mysterious that we won't find much about it on the Internet. While looking for information on this subject, I found a mention that it was supposedly built by Zygmunt Pęcherski - the author of the tourist guide "Konin, Słupca, Koło" from the 1950s. It was modeled on Światowid from Brucz - which is the only one recognized by science.

Interesting place. For people who are interested in history, it stimulates imagination and fantasy. The statue is located in the middle of the forest. It's hard to hit. There is no signage on how to get there. Some kind of information board showing the historical context would be nice. Apparently, the statue stands on the site of a former pagan temple ... I recommend the place as a stop for a bicycle or hiking trip.
